Medisave

Medisave can be used to cover outpatient services including chronic disease treatments and preventive care. 

Medisave can be used to pay for 20 approved chronic conditions under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP).

Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents above 60 years old are eligible to use MediSave-Flexi during your visits. MediSave-Flexi covers consultation fees, selected tests and drugs, and other services such as physiotherapy, if ordered by your doctor for diagnosis or treatment of your medical condition.

These conditions are:

1. Diabetes

2. Hypertension

3. Lipid disorders

4. Stroke 

5. Anxiety

6. Bipolar Disorder

7. Major depression

8. Schizophrenia

9. Asthma

10. Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)

11. Parkinson’s disease 

12. Osteoarthritis 

13. Nephrosis/nephritis 

14. Benign prostatic hyperplasia 

15. Dementia 

16. Epilepsy 

17. Osteoporosis 

18. Psoriasis 

19. Rheumatoid arthritis 

20. Ischemic heart disease 

Medisave can also be used for children’s treatments including screenings and all vaccinations. 

Medisave can also be used for adult vaccinations under the National Adult Immunization Schedule (NAIS).

Both Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent residents can utilize their Medisave for the abovementioned treatments and more. You may also use the Medisave of your immediate family members.
