Injuries from sport, exercise or work are common, from a twisted ankle on the futsal court to a sore shoulder from lifting at work or wrist pain from long hours at a keyboard. The right treatment early on helps you heal well and lowers the chance of the injury coming back.

Our physiotherapist, who has a special interest in sports injuries, will find the cause of your pain and build a plan to get you back to your sport or work safely.

How physiotherapy helps

  • Assessment: We examine the injured area, check how it moves and find what is driving the pain.
  • Early care: Advice on rest, ice or heat, taping and how to stay active without making it worse.
  • Treatment: Manual therapy, exercise and, where useful, SIS therapy or electrical stimulation.
  • Return to activity: Progressive strength, balance and sport- or job-specific training, so you return with confidence.

Our doctor is on site and can prescribe pain relief or anti-inflammatory medicine, arrange scans, or discuss an injection if it is needed.

See a doctor promptly if you have:

  • you cannot put weight on the leg or use the arm at all
  • there is obvious deformity, severe swelling or you heard a crack
  • you have numbness, pins and needles or weakness after the injury
